		<description>It&#039;s amazing the kind of bigotry that can exist in the information age.  It is not just a &quot;them&quot; issue, in my own family I have heard what I would term unkind words about military service.  Remarks that it&#039;s &quot;good for kids who can&#039;t make it in college&quot;.

As a former Marine, garage shop crackpot, software engineer and scratch builder of electronic circuits - I have to laugh at such comments.  How did it come that a growing chorus of citizens have so little understanding and appreciation for the best our country has to offer?</description>
