Actually, he’s a sweet old dog, though a bit crotchety and prone to barking. He turned 16 back in December, is mostly blind and hard of hearing, but still has a great appetite. FX is showing “The Day After Tomorrow” right now; I don’t know if that’s pure coincidence or some clever programming on someone’s part.  In either case, the movie’s wretched and nonsensical scientific gaffes, as well as the political heavy-handedness (e.g., the Dick Cheney clone), are even more painful in the light of the wholesale collapse of AGW during the past several months.  ..bfw..

This is a long (too long) political ad dealing with the California Senate race. But just hang in there until 2:20 or so, and you will witness something truly priceless. Initial hat tip to Ace of Spades, but you’re going to be stumbling across this thing all over the net for the next few days. Just remember two words: demon sheep.
