Reality split

| September 26, 2012

Sorry for the quiet for the last week, but I am strill trying to figure out why switching to a new theme (and a rather plain-vanilla WordPress theme at that) suddenly caused most page-specific links into the blog to return 404s. Right now, I’m blogging at 35,000 ft, so I won’t have much in the way of links, photos, or videos — more of those when I’m in a hotel in midtown Manhattan tonight.

In the meantime, the split betwen the world as the mainstream media portrays it and the world as it actually is has become rather staggering. The US economy — and, frankly, the global economy — is in the tank, the Middle East is in flames (figuratively and literally), every new piece of information about the impact of Obamacare is negative — and the MSM is fixated on non-gaffes by Romney, while reporting polls that oversample Democrats.

Back at the start of June, I predicted (over at Ace of Spades) that Romney would win the election going away. I still believe that to be the case, perhaps more than ever. But the Right (particularly the Establishment Right) is going to have to stop taking shots at Romney and focus on Obama, the Dems, and the MSM. ..bruce w..
